We would like to extend our apologies to Mr. Sin and The Village Voice for being so pointed in our criticisms of how the media portrays the issue of foreclosure in New York City. Rather than blame a single news source, we hoped to call attention the specific issues related to multi-family foreclosure and to elaborate on the ways that tenants have been getting involved and fighting for preservation outcomes in their buildings.
We appreciate The Village Voice’s participation in drawing attention to the foreclosure crisis, and hope to continue this conversation.
